I’m glad you’re here to hang out with me.
I write realistic and paranormal young adult fiction in addition to articles for horse magazines.
Check out No Time for Horses, the second book in my Shamrock Stable series on the Books page. When her parents filed for divorce, Vicky's mom got the house and a new job. Vicky's step-dad got the new car and a girlfriend. Vicky has the five kids, her younger half-brothers and sisters who range from 18 months to 10 years old to look after and her own life now comes second to their needs and wants.
Asking For It, Book 2 in my Stewart Falls Cheerleader series was a June 2013 release from Black Opal Books. My heroine thinks she has it made when she’s chosen for varsity cheer, but soon finds out otherwise. The first book, Throw Away Teen came out in December 2012 from Black Opal Books.
I live on a ranch in the Cascade foothills of Washington state. I don’t have any two-legged kids, but I have 32 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and lots of wild critters hanging around. So when I’m not writing a book, I’m riding one of my horses, building fences, mucking stalls or driving my bulldozer.
I call her Frou-Frou, and she is my cure for Writer’s Block. She has a six-way blade and we can clear some serious land on days when the books aren’t going well and my heroine is talking back. She says it’s her story and I need to get over myself. Yeah, right!
Where’s that dozer?
So, take the tour and enjoy the adventure, because life is a journey, not a destination.
Have a “Reading Good Time!”
