Live What You Love!

Realistic & Paranormal Young Adult Fiction

Welcome

Hi there,

I’m glad you’re here to hang out with me.

I write realistic and paranormal young adult fiction in addition to articles for horse magazines.

However, it's spring and that means it's time for the Essay Contest I organize and judge each year. This is the 10th year for my contest and I hope you'll consider entering.

First through ninth-graders write an essay about either “I love horses because..,” or “I want to come to horse camp because….”. Win a session of 3-Day Old West Camp at Shannon’s family stable, Horse Country Farm. Camp attendees will Ride, Ride, Ride – Riding Lessons, Trail Rides, Horse Care, Games on Horseback. Learn to Barrel Race on your camp horse – Wow! Fun, Fun, Fun!

For more information about the contest or the rules, check out the Essay Contest Page at www.camphorsecountry.com

Entry forms for the oh so popular contest are available on the display table at Key Bank in Granite Falls in March, or online at www.camphorsecountry.com or in the Horse Country Farm office, or use the link below.

Here's the entry form: Essay_Contest_Entry_Form_2015.doc

Hope to see you this summer at the ranch or perhaps at one of my local school visits.

Have a “Reading Good Time!”until we meet again,

Shannon
